UNSW Canberra Cyber is a centre of excellence in conducting impactful multidisciplinary research and educating the next generation of Australian leaders and scholars in this important and growing field.
The Centre uniquely brings together a dynamic community of experts in the fields of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, Business and Management, Philosophy, Human Geography, and Criminology. We continue to grow as a team across disciplines and with our industry and government partners.
Through fundamental and applied research, training, and education, UNSW Canberra Cyber is working to combat cyber threats to our nation, organisations and individuals by understanding the intersection of human, business, and technical factors.
Working from home has traditionally been helpful to delivering work life balance to the employee, however recent times have forced this arrangement. Many organisations and employees have not been ready for this challenge and don’t fully recognise the constraints, challenges and potential benefits from this type of arrangement. At UNSW Canberra we held a webinar to explore what it means to provide meaningful work, with the right infrastructure to motivate employees, as well as the pitfalls which can lead to serious organisational and human problems. This webinar is now available as a recording.
We offer a range of cybersecurity educational programmes, including an undergraduate degree, several Masters programmes, and Professional Educational Courses – many of these offerings are available online.
