Handling & Viewing Items

Due to their unique nature Special Collections materials are viewed under supervised access in the John Howard Reading Room (JHRR).

John Howard Reading Room

The JHRR is located on the ground floor of the Academy Library (Building 13) and can accommodate up to ten researchers.

The room has power points, an overhead scanner, and is monitored by electronic surveillance for security purposes. There is secure access to the room, but researchers may self-exit for breaks.

Lockers are provided free of charge for storage of bags and other personal items.
